Comparison Project

These past few days in Spanish  we have been doing a project. I enjoyed this project because it was different and reminded me of stixyboard a little bit. Its a different way of learning that can still expand your knowledge. I wish we did things liike this more and took test grades on it. That would be awesome! I like the idea of watching slides at home and taking class time to discuss more things we have questions on. I believe it would be a great way of learning.  Animoto was a awesome way to do this project and here are some people I owe credit to for pictures in this project:

Thanks for the use of your pictures! this project was very fun and I hope we continue to use Animoto in the future.

Creative Commons

To be honest, I didn’t really enjoy having to do so much to get a picture with Creative Commons. I believe, along with what we said in class, that if you put a picture on the internet, you should be okay with it being shared. Growing up in 2011, it feels like even though people say taking pictures from google and sharing them is stealing, it’s actually just a common habit. I’d much rather go to Google to find a picture. This is just how I feel, but i’m okay with doing the assignment. If nothing else happens, I do learn that the harder road you take pays off for you in the end.

Mi universidad favorita es Letournea University. Mi hermano juega al basquetbol allí. Me encantaría especializarme en gestión deportiva o del ministerio de jóvenes. Si puedo ser entrenador, quisiera ser asistente al entrenador Davis. Tengo pasión por el ministerio de jóvenes. Para lograr mis objectivos, voy a mostrar mi ética del trabajo y graduarme de la Universidad de Letourneau.

My First Semester Blogging Experience

I have had a fun time blogging in Spanish 2 class. I hope we do it more often. It is different than most other things I use, but it is a thing I like to do now, after using it a few times. I feel good embedding my work on my blog because I know I’m doing my work. The only thing I don’t like is trusting the computer with homework, quiz, or test grades of mine. Overall, I believe this skill is necessary for the future. I hope we use it to do all kinds of things related to Spanish that can also be fun too. 🙂

Mi Rutina Diaria

We have covered vocab and grammer in the last few weeks concerning our routine in the morning times. Within our studying, we learned what reflexive verbs are and how to use them properly.

We then transfered our learning to the computer. We used an avatar from the website, voki.com, to be a version of ourselves. We had to write a script, have it checked by Mrs. Hugghins, and added to our own voki by Thursday morning. We recorded using our cell phones, and now my voki sounds exactly like me. This project counted as our six weeks test grade. Below is my voki:

Get a Voki now!

Voki was a website i really enjoyed using. The avatar was fun to create, and its a neat way to learn spanish. Everyone had a pretty good time creating the avatar right in front of your eyes and hearing your voice over the computer. I enjoy doing my test this way because I am not around any distractions. This makes it harder for me to mess up. I think it was valuable for me to use this because I had to speak spanish, write it, study it, and pronunciate every word.

Verb Tense Review

In the first semester of Spanish 2, we worked on our verb tense review. We learned to write them in sentences and had to create a board with sentences on it. The verb tense included present tense, present progressive, immediate future, and tener que forms. Below is a link leading to my board using the different forms.
